Glue sticks to most people’s ears as something harmful and unclean in relation to climate and environmental impact. This we are absolutely aware of at PKI Supply and at our business partners nationally and internationally. We have been aware of this for many years and we will continue to be. We are all assigned restrictive demands and laws defined by FN, EU and Danish rules for manufacturing, storage and abolition of glue and adhesives for industrial use. Demands and laws that PKI Supply of course acclaims, complies with and respects. Yearly we, among other things, report to local authorities.

PKI Supply pays full attention to the products containing substances of LOUS (List Of Unwanted Substances) defined by the Danish environmental protection agency. All this we do to eliminate unwanted substances in our own production and equivalent affects our business partners, e.g. BASF and Henkel – to eliminate the substances as a part of the glue- and adhesive products.

Sustainability is an important issue to both us and our partners, to ensure that we, with the words from the Brunt land report from 1987 “provide the human beings and the environment the best without harming the future generations´ possibility to fulfill their needs”.

Technologically we have unfortunately not reached the 100% yet, where we can fulfill the customers demand for adhesiveness and the demand for sustainability. But we are on our way and we will reach it – of course glue must pay regards to the human beings and the environment now and in the future.
